    Hi Pilot,

Thank heaven for Time Machine! Everything should soon be fine again.

The procedure is simple: Open Time Machine, find the folder Music/Tunes, select that, then click Restore.

Now one important thing to know: The iTunes folder that you choose to restore should contain all the important parts of your iTunes library. The absolutely crucial bits are: (1) a file called iTunes Library.itl (which may just be called iTunes Library, without the file extension) — this is the main database for your library, with information about your playlists, ratings, and many other things -- and (2) a folder called iTunes Media, where all your songs, videos, etc, are stored. So before restoring, you should look inside the Time Machine copy of the iTunes folder to confirm that these things are there. If something is missing, you will need to go back to an earlier date in Time Machine.

Best of luck, and please post again if you have any trouble.
