Q: can't install windows on my mac. help!

Everytime i try to install Windows it shows this window, when i click ok, then on the main window behind it doesn't select install Windows.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    Now if after installing windows i partition my mac again .... will there be any problem ?

    Do not manually partition your disk. Let BCA do it. If it fails, you can check if the issue is the same and you have the steps to fix this specific issue.

    BCA will create a partition for windows i.e. 2nd partition, I m asking about creating a third partition after windows is installed.

    Your Mac does not support it. I suggest you use an external disk, formatted appropriately, for sharing files between the two OSes.

    Does encryption of data after installing windows cause any problem ?

    FV2 is valid only for OSX and OSX file systems. Using FV2 also disables visibility of OSX from the Windows side.

    Can you search in Application -> Utilities -> Console logs for any partitioning or disk messages? It may be likely due to lack of contiguous disk space.

    Is this the USB? Please check diskutil list. disk0 (physical), disk1 (CoreStorage), so disk2 should be the USB.

     

    In Terminal, can you run diskutil repairDisk disk0 and post the output?

    Type 'y' and continue. This is normal. If it finds any issues with the EFI partition, OSX will re-build it.
