Sep 24, 2015 5:54 AM in response to valerieineuropeby léonie,★HelpfulAperture is no longer available in any country, because Apple stopped selling Aperture.
With MacOS X 10,10.5 you need Aperture 3.6. Do you have a copy of the Aperture.app on version 3.6 a backup drive? Then copy the application over.
You can update Aperture by reinstalling from the Purchases history of the appSTore, if you own a copy of Aperture, that is assicated with your AppleID at the AppStore. Have a look at this User Tip: Updating to Aperture 3.6 After the Release of Photos
If you originally bought and updated Aperture in italy, set your mac's region settings to Italy, before you launch the AppStore.

Sep 26, 2015 4:27 AM in response to léonieby HugoMe,Actually Leonie, Apple is currently in the process of suppressing Aperture from the purchase history, some cases have been reported in France.
If you don't have a physical copy on your hard drive, and I don't even know about the updates, you are done. :-(

Do you have a link, Hugo?
I also found Aperture hidden from my Purchases, but I could unhide it (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202320). The same happened with GarageBand after GarageBand 6.0.5 had been upgraded to GarageBand 10.

Sep 26, 2015 8:09 AM in response to HugoMeby léonie,I checked again. And now both iPhoto and Aperture have again vanished from my Purchases, together with GarageBand '11. And none of them is any longer in the "Hidden" section.
Bye,Bye, Aperture!

Sep 26, 2015 12:36 PM in response to léonieby Remy Leroy, that's the sad reality.... not only Aperture can't be redownloaded from the Purchase section, but you can't update it anymore either!
If you upgrade OS X, without being able to update Aperture, you simply can't use it anymore (neither iPhoto....) and as a consequence, you can't open your photo library :-(

Anyone running an older version of Aperture or iPhoto should disable automatic updates in the System Preferences. And keep bootable clones as backups of the current running system, just in case.

You are referring to the System Preferences setting in the App store?

Sep 26, 2015 10:18 PM in response to Ziatronby léonie,Yes, I keep all automatic update options disabled but security updates.
I do not risk automatic system updates before I can check, if they will render apps incompatible, and I do not risk automatic app updates, because I have different system versions on my Ma s and have to check, if the update of an app will make the documents incompatible with the versions on the other machines.
