Sep 24, 2015 2:02 PM in response to S_M_Cby k_a_w,Here is what worked for me:
Logged into webmail, go to Options > See All Options
Phones
I then deleted the all the iPads and iPhones listed
After deleting the iPads/iPhones from the list my calendar and emails started synching.

Sep 24, 2015 3:28 PM in response to k_a_wby S_M_C,Maybe for iCloud but I am not sure how that would solve the issue an Exchange account. Something else is going on here with iOS 9. I have tried everything included downgrading to 8.4.1 deleting exchange and icloud, reseting Network, up grading back to iOS 9 and adding both. Didn't work. Currently I have down graded back to 8.4.1 until a future Apple update.

Massive pain in the arse.

Sep 25, 2015 5:42 PM in response to S_M_Cby MikeE3,Updated iPad and iPhone 6 to IOS 9.0 (13A344). Running Yosemite on my MPB. I'm not using iDrive just iCloud.
Notes app - changes on the Mac flow to the iPhone & iPad
Cal & Contacts app - changes on the Mac only flow to the iPad
Logging into iCloud web, it shows in the manage under setting - You are running IOS8, Yosemite or newer on these devices. That's strange it knows the MBP is Yosemite but not recognizing the iPhone and iPad as being IOS9.
I couldn't get the download of IOS 9.0.1 to start. I'll try again tomorrow and see if that fixes the problem.

update 1:
iCal: If I do a manual sync on the iPhone it will update its calandar with changes made on the MBP cal. If I make a change on the iPhone it will flow to the MBP w/o doing a manual sync on the iPhone. So it seems to be working in 1 direction, iPhone to MBP.
Contacts: although what looks like a sync symbol is on the Contact screen, tapping it does nothing. Still can sync Contacts.
How to manually sync Calendar. 1.) tap on the word Calendar at the bottom of the screen. 2.) on the next screen swipe down, like refreshing you Mail screen.

update 2:
Upgrade to IOS 9.0.1 did not fix the problems. In Settings/iCloud I turned off and on Contacts - nope didn't fix it either. When I turned off, I selected to keep contacts on phone. I was concerned if I delete them, w/ this issue I might not be able to sync them from the Cloud. When turning on it asked if I wanted to Merge, I accepted that - but still not syncing to or from the Cloud.

Sep 26, 2015 3:22 PM in response to chassawhiteby jeffgoulden,I have the same experience. I synced notes from my Ipod Touch and my Iphone 5c to Outlook (2003) Notes on my Windows 7 computer. As soon as I upgraded the phone, the option to sync notes disappeared from iTunes. It seems like they did this by design. The IOS 9 notes app is a completely different app than IOS 8. I'm ticked too that this was done without any warning and no backward compatability.
Did you ever find a solution? I found a workaround that's not ideal but works for me.
