Q: White screen with writting on start up PLEASE HELP

Please help.

I just wanted to update safari and now when i turn on my laptop i get a white screen with load of code writting and a box that says i have to restart the computer. Im worried that i have downloaded a dodgy file and now i have to do a factory reset or something

Please help i dont know what else to do

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Sound like kernel panic.
OS X: About kernel panics - Apple Support
That cold be due to a software problem/glitch or a hardware problem. If it keeps occuring, log the panic and post the results here
