Q: My apple watch has a blank screen. When I push the side button it shows a red symbol

My apple watch has a blank screen. When I push the side button I get a red symbol and the time. It is fully charged. When I tried to force a reset by pushing the crown and side button for > 30 seconds, nothing happened. Is this related to the 9.0.1 update?

    Hi Kristi

Your watch has a low battery and has automatically entered into Power Reserve mode. All that you can do for now is tell the time (by pressing the side button once). This is designed to keep this function available for as long as possible.

To exit this mode, you will need to press and hold the side button.

However, you may need to charge your watch first.
