Sep 27, 2015 2:03 PM in response to PositivETby Jason L,Hi PositivET,
If I understand correctly, there's an issue sending or receiving emails with a POP3 account on your iPhone 6 Plus, and your seeing an authorization alert. The article below provides information about the alert that you're seeing and it also provides troubleshooting tips that should help you resolve the issue.

"Username or password is incorrect" with POP3 account
Before you check your email on your iOS device, close any other email programs and close any webmail sites you have open on other computers.
To see if your account is a POP3 account, use the Mail Settings Lookup tool or follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap the account.
- Look for the label POP Account Information.
If your email provider offers IMAP, remove the POP3 account, and then add the account with your provider's IMAP settings.
POP3 communicates with one mail client at a time. If more than one mail client tries to connect at the same time, you might see a username or password error.
Ciao.

Thank you for the information, but I have read it before and that's why I pointed out that my mail client does not support IMAP.
If you have any other ideas, please share them with me.

Oct 22, 2015 3:33 PM in response to Jason Lby Scott Hilke,It will only cost you a minimum of $29 to contact Apple to try to fix something they broke. Nice business model but terrible customer service. I'll wait until someone here on the forum comes up with a way to fix Apple's mistake.
