Aug 19, 2015 11:52 AM in response to Nayberryby LarryHN,Interesting you have a long standing unsolved bug that no one else has reported - maybe it is your system not a bug
But to help you actually have to provide details - unfortunately you posted editorials and opinions and no details
What is the exact error message? How exactly are you syncing? What OS version are you using? What version of iPhoto ? What has changed since this worked? What have you tried to fix it?

Aug 19, 2015 12:07 PM in response to Nayberryby Terence Devlin,There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 10 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Aug 19, 2015 9:26 PM in response to Terence Devlinby Nayberry,Okay, here are the details:
- I've migrated to the new photos app when it first appeared, so Photos app version is Version 1.0.1 (215.65.0).
- iPhoto app version is 9.6.1 (910.42)
- OS Yoseite version 10.10.5 (14F27)
- Full description would be as follows: i've migrated to the new Photos app with the latest update to the OS. Unfortunately, each time i try to sync iPhone with my Mac the syncing process goes through "synching photos" for 2-3 minutes, before this error message appears: "iTunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone..because your iPhoto Library is not yet available. Please try again later."
- No, I think it appeared like a week after the migration from iphoto to Photos
- I've tried this Apple tip: iTunes: Unable to sync photos - Apple Support
- Nothing unusual, I am pretty sure I am just a typical iPhone/Mac user (BTW English is not my first language, so, I am sorry for any grammar error I could have made in this post )

Aug 19, 2015 10:58 PM in response to LarryHNby Nayberry,BTW, it appears to be that I am not the only one who previously reported this problem here.
Cannot sync photos "iPhoto library is not yet available"
Previous thread on this matter. I've tried rebuilding the iPhoto library, but it did not work for me

Aug 20, 2015 12:09 AM in response to Nayberryby Terence Devlin,But are you syncing to iPhoto or your Photos library?
-
Aug 20, 2015 4:13 AM in response to Terence Devlinby Nayberry,I am synching to Photos app That's the point!
And the photos do sync to appear in the Photos app, but itunes still comes up with this error message each time i am synching

Aug 20, 2015 4:59 AM in response to Nayberryby Terence Devlin,I'm unclear as what iTunes has to do with it. Or do you mean iPhoto throws the message? If so, where is your iPhoto Library?
-
Aug 22, 2015 9:24 AM in response to Terence Devlinby Nayberry,Hmm, I synch my iPhone to my mac with itunes. There is a stage of synchronisation called "synching photos". It is Itunes app that throws the message

Aug 22, 2015 10:33 AM in response to Nayberryby Terence Devlin,Hmmm if you are syncing from yourr Mac to your Phone you use iTunes.
You're going the other way:
I am synching to Photos app That's the point!
that is from your Phone to you Mac. Or are we having a language problem?
What version of iTunes do you have?

Sep 27, 2015 7:20 PM in response to Terence Devlinby ldyachimski,I'm having this exact same problem. While using iTunes to sync pictures from Photos to my iPhone 6+, i get the following error: "iTunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone “iPhone” because your Photos Library is not yet available. Please try again later."
I can see all of my pictures in Photos, but can't sync them to my phone.
This all started happening after i upgraded to Yosemite and Photos.
Nayberry - did you ever solve your problem?

Sep 28, 2015 4:09 AM in response to Terence Devlinby ldyachimski,I posted here because the person that started this thread had the same issue. If you don't have a constructive response why respond at all? It's not helpful to be told to go to another forum.
-
Sep 28, 2015 6:43 AM in response to ldyachimskiby Terence Devlin,Well we'll see. One might think that to get an helpful answer you need to ask the right question and in the right place. I would have thought offering a link to the appropriate forum was quite constructive. But whatever. Your gratitude is noted and you're welcome of course.

Sep 28, 2015 7:16 AM in response to Terence Devlinby ldyachimski,Agree that other forums make sense, but given the guy who started this thread was having the same problem, I wanted to know if he found a solution. This now makes 3 times in this single thread you've been unhelpful, thanks for that.
