Sep 22, 2015 8:49 AM in response to Jason CNYby Jonathan UK,Check your Location Services for the watch face. On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Location Services - check that Apple Watch Faces is set to While Using.
If it is already on this setting, try toggling it off and then on again.

Sep 22, 2015 8:56 AM in response to Jonathan UKby Jason CNY,I restarted the watch, and it changed to where I am now. I switched the location services off and on for the apple watch faces, I will update the thread after I leave the office to see if that helps.

Sep 22, 2015 5:29 PM in response to Jason CNYby alexanderfromavon,I had the same problem. To fix it I went to the weather app on the phone, added another city, moved it to the top of the list, then checked my watch. Both the complication and the app worked. I then went back to the phone app and removed the city I added.

Sep 23, 2015 5:03 AM in response to Jonathan UKby Jason CNY,The watch updated my location once after I left work, but has since now locked itself into that location. Power cycling the watch and toggling the location services has not seemed to solve the problem.

Have you also tried Alexander's suggestion?

Sep 23, 2015 5:08 AM in response to Jason CNYby nick101,Try going into the Weather app on the phone. Delete all the locations. That seems to work for some people.
You can add the deleted locations back if it works

Sep 23, 2015 11:13 AM in response to Jonathan UKby Jason CNY,I tried all of the suggestions, the only thing that fixed it was un-pairing and repairing the watch, it updates as expected now.

Sep 23, 2015 1:35 PM in response to Jason CNYby sbono13,i'm having the same issue-- Weather on Watch no longer updates location consistently after OS 2.0. For me, it seems like power cycling the watch can force the current location to update, but the location will not update on its own. I am loathed to unPair/rePair, but I will try to see if it works.

Sep 23, 2015 3:23 PM in response to sbono13by sbono13,FWIW, it looks like unpairing and repairing my Watch fixed the ability of the weather to update my location in the background at least initially. I'll check if it works automatically later on my commute home.

Sep 23, 2015 7:19 PM in response to sbono13by sbono13,Well, looks like I spoke too soon. I left work over an hour ago and the weather complication, glance, and app on my Watch still shows my work city as the current location (the city is not updating in the leftmost pane of the Watch's weather app). Unpairing and rePairing did not Fix it.

Sep 28, 2015 3:15 AM in response to sbono13by windmill_81,I do also have the same issue after updating the watch to watchOS 2.0. The weather location doesn't update.
I've tried restarting, resetting,un pairing and re pairing the watch, I've checked the privacy settings for the watch faces but still the location doesn't update.
The only way I can temporarily make it update is by restarting the watch.
Any other suggestions?
I'm using an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.0.1

Sep 28, 2015 5:12 AM in response to windmill_81by sbono13,Same config here (iPhone 6/9.0.1 with Watch2.0). All I can say is that it seems to be improving without me changing anything. As I was driving around the Bay Area today, i occasionally caught my Watch updating its location (the weather complication would display a "--" instead of the previous city's current temperature). It seems to help to be using the Watch for other things that require location, like checking in with Foursquare/Swarm or getting navigation through maps. When it does get stuck on a city, I've been able to force a refresh by rearranging cities in the weather app on the iPhone (faster than restarting the watch). But I haven't needed to do that in days.

Sep 28, 2015 5:36 AM in response to Jason CNYby Les S,I think it's a problem with the way complications are getting updated in Watch OS 2 since I've seen the same problem with both the weather complication and the stocks complication.

Sep 28, 2015 6:51 AM in response to Les Sby windmill_81,I've also tried to reset my iCloud password and again reset the watch.
Result: nothing has changed, after reboot it finds my location but then remains stuck no matter what I do.
I guess I'll have to wait for a fix.
