- Go to the “Purchases” tab of the Mac App Store and locate “iPhoto”
- Click on “Install” next to iPhoto, this will download and install the newest version which is compatible with OS X 10.10.3+
(Back-up your photos first)

Since yesterday I cannot see iPhoto any longer in my Purchases History, and quite a few forum members are reporting the same. Apple seems to have pulled iPhoto from the AppStore completely, even reinstalling is no longer possible.

Sep 28, 2015 4:57 AMby léonie,You can no longer get i-photo on the app store but if you have it on your machine, you can grab it from applications and "pin" it to the app/software menu bar by dragging and holding it there.
That will only work, if you previously updated to iPhoto 9.6.1. That is the only compatible version of iPhoto.
