- Remove the mail account from Settings then add it back
- Tlest adding a differlent email address for the same account type to pinpoint the problem. For example if your real account is a Gmail account, remove it and add a differlent Gmail account to see the results. (Yes, you may need to create a new email account just to test this.)

Sep 29, 2015 12:42 AM in response to chrisfromcorbyby chrisfromcorby,Well after trying everything possible including:
- Deleting email setting and reinstalling on iPhone (left iPad alone) - no joy
- 20 questions and half a dozen suggestions with my remote server IT guy - no joy
- 45 mins on phone to Apple support which eventually resorted to backing up the iPhone, hard reset, reinstalling from iTunes plus downloading 9.0 again - no joy.
- And then miraculously emails suddenly appeared last Thursday 10 days later and everything working okay, didn't change anything on iPad?
My assumption and also that of my IT guy is that Apple fixed something at their end and didn't tell us, very disappointing and now very worried about future iOS downloads/updates?
