Sep 28, 2015 12:56 PM in response to leJuan5150by gustavobrito,The iCloud backup still broken!
I already tried:
- Delete the old backup (after the loading spinning wheel stops)
- Full backup on iTunes then restore
- A lot from alternatives from Google.... and nothing work.
I'm on the iOS 9.1 Beta 2 and since the iOS 9.0 and 9.0.1 i'm facing the same problem.
1. The iCloud backup starts OK:
Then after 2 or 3 minutes:
I never have issues on iCloud backup when in iOS 8.1.4
I have the free account (5GB) but my backup have less than 1 GB.
Let's hope Apple fix this as soon as possible!

Sep 28, 2015 3:23 PM in response to saeed.aymanby CoRoadRunner,This worked for me, at least with doing a manual backup to iCloud. I have a 6S running 9.0.1. I don't know whether it will now back up automatically when I plug it into a power source, though.

Sep 28, 2015 4:24 PM in response to gustavobritoby gail from maine,I had this same issue come up on my iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.2. I upgraded my iPhone 5s to 9.0, then to 9.0.1....
First I had issues with the iOS 9 device. Then I deleted my iCloud account, added it back in, turned on backup, and was finally able to back up. Next day, after I had my iPhone 4 plugged in to backup, work up to see "Not enough Storage" even though I had almost 7GB available, and my backup was 2.6GB.
I deleted my Photos and large items, then reset the device. Then tried to manually back up. No dice.
Later that day - it backed up with no problem.....
Restores, and Resetting to Factory settings, no crazy stuff. Maybe some backup deletes, toggling backup off and on, signing out of iCloud and back in in various places (Mac, devices, etc.). But hopefully with some of the more innocuous troubleshooting processes, things will get straightened out! Best of luck

Sep 28, 2015 7:57 PM in response to HarveyfromNJby DrToddB,Agreed. I'm reading everyone's posts and have tried everything. Can't get it to back via iCloud or iTunes. Basically can't use my 6s right now until apple (or anyone here!) can offer some additional help.

Sep 28, 2015 8:35 PM in response to leJuan5150by JuSTBLeSSeD,A Big WOW!!!!!! I have same problem and just hung up with Apple, who said they never heard of this issue. This was a senior advisor mind you. From the looks of this thread, how can a senior advisor have never heard of this issue. PLUS, he wanted to put my phone in troubleshooting mode for the engineers. Riiiiiiiiight!!!!!
ANY SOLUTION TO THIS YET???

Sep 29, 2015 2:04 AM in response to leJuan5150by littlelune2003,Yes I have the same issue. I am really regretting upgrading to os9 as it seems so buggy. I have this issue and also the non receiving syncing issue that I see being discussed. It only seems to be effecting my phone, iphone6. I think I might have to restore the phone back to before the update. Apple please look at the issues mentioned in these forums!!

Sep 29, 2015 4:09 AM in response to littlelune2003by jedtullett,DON'T KNOW WHETHER THIS HELPS - IT RELATES ONLY TO MY IPAD AIR 2 - BUT HITHERTO I'D ALWAYS BACKED UP THE IPAD TO ITUNES BUT THOUGHT YOU KNOW WHAT I'LL FINALLY DO AN ICLOUD BACKUP. WELL I PLUGGED IT INTO MY MACBOK PRO, LOCKED THE SCREEN AND MADE SURE I HAD A DECENT WI FI CONNECTION - AND THEN WAITED AND WAITED. THE BLUE LINE WOULD ONLY GET SO FAR AND NO FURTHER AND EVEN THOUGH IT SAID 'A MINUTE REMAINING' THE LITTLE GEAR WHEEL WOULD JUST SPIN AND SPIN. AFTER NUMEROUS EFFORTS I SIMPLY DECIDED OK IM JUST GOING TO LET YOU STAY ATTACHED TO MY MACBOOK. IT TOOK 15 MINUTES TO FINALY GET AN ICLOUD BACKUP. SO MY ADVICE IS TO SIMPLY WAIT IT OUT. WE'RE ALL IMPATIENT THESE DAYS AND EXPECT EVERYTHING TO WORK QUICKLY AND WITHOUT A HITCH. HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE.

Sep 29, 2015 4:58 AM in response to jedtullettby Papaylan,I have 4 devices upgraded to iOS 9. All 4 experienced the icloud backup issue, but now all 4 work again.
Here is what I have done, although I'm not sure what helped to fix the issue.
1. delete all old backups. I did it with the System settings on my iMac.
2. slim down the size of the first backup by unticking apps with large backup volume (for me these are photo and video apps).
3. launch manual backup to iCloud. I had to make several tries before succeeding.
4. tick back apps I have unticked.
5. 2 or 3 days later, I note that the automatic backup works again on all 4 devices. I said "work again" because the last backup shows a time and date within the last 24 hours, but did not try to make a restore from these backups to ensure that they are not corrupted.

Sep 29, 2015 6:06 AM in response to JuSTBLeSSeDby tweilemann,I'm having the same issues. Spent a few hours on chat and later time on the phone with a "senior advisor". I have restored, setup as new, attempted a backup all a few times. The senior advisor's only advice was to say that my backup is corrupt in some way and I need to start from scratch. Never mind that there were no issues until iOS9 and there are plenty of people here looking for a solution to this same issue!

Sep 29, 2015 7:11 AM in response to tweilemannby halemmerich,Still broken for me...
I've also tried deleting my last (only) pre iOS 9 backup, and then doing a "Back Up Now" on the phone, and it didn't work. I get the same "not enough storage" message, which is wrong...

Sep 29, 2015 7:09 AM in response to tweilemannby jrez007,Did you upgrade your phone or just the OS?

Sep 29, 2015 7:12 AM in response to jrez007by halemmerich,Not sure if that question was directed towards me, but I upgraded my OS to iOS 9. Same phone as before.
