Sep 29, 2015 6:54 AM in response to turingtest2by Modernfather,I found my problem was that on my new computer I installed iTunes on a solid state C: drive and am storing my music on my D: drive. I restarted my process by having all library files on the C: drive and then adding files to my library through iTunes. It picked everything up, including playlists, album artwork and playcount.

I suspect you will have lost the original date added information doing it that way unless I've misunderstood what you have done. I'd still recommend you look at the user tip to get the library in a portable shape that works anywhere, and also back it up in the way suggested.
