Q: AutoText in iOS Pages?

Hi there,

does Apple Pages for iOS support AutoText?

The only way to add AutoText seems to be using iOS Keyboard Shortcut feature. This is not very convenient if you are dealing with lot’s of text snippets. Looking for a more elegant solution. Thanks in advanced.

What exactly are you looking for in terms of functionality? There is feature called "AutoText". Do you mean Auto-Correction? That is actually a system wide function: Setting app > General > Keyboards > Auto-Correction [turn ON]

Thanks for reply. I am looking for a way to important a bunch of text template to Pages. The best way would be select them from a dropdown menu so that text pieces are automatically added to my Pages document.

It’s similar to Microsoft Word’s Autotext feature. Is that possible?
