    Greetings MrNickname,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you do not want to see certain apps listed when you use Spotlight Search. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Search lets you look for content from inside the apps.

Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Go to Settings > General > Spotlight Search.

From here, you can turn Siri Suggestions on or off and choose which apps to include in your searches. For example, if you don’t want to see search results from your Messages app, you can deselect Messages.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care

    Hello MrNickname,

The app is not going to be hidden, the contents of the app will not be searched through when using search to provide results. Messages will still appear if you search for "M" but the stuff in Messages will not appear if you search for a phrase you sent using Messages.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Have a nice day
