Q: Copying windows files issue...
Hello,
A few weeks back I accidentally deleted my Windows Partition on my mac because I went to add space in the disk utility and it got deleted (like an idiot lol).
So, I went ahead and deleted the partition and dragged the mac partition to its original, 1 partition, size. Then I went to Boot Camp Assistant to re-install Windows and it keeps getting stuck at the "Copying Windows files" stage [as shown in photo below]. I burned a windows 8.1 iso onto a flash drive, then put in onto my desktop and then attempted the bootcamp assistant.
I have tried everything. I've tried re-getting the iso file incase it was corrupted. Formatting my flash drive to exFat or mDOS Fat. Using a windows 10 iso. Downloading the support software and putting it onto the flash drive along with the iso (to skip the bootcamp assistant).
