Q: iPhoto Library & Photos Library

In Pictures folders I have 2 libraries after installing Photos, iPhotos Library and iPhotos Libraries.

1st question : Is that correct/normal ?

iPhoto Library has 142Gb. Photos Library has 82Gb.

2nd question : How is that possible ?

3rd question : Has Photos migrate all photos and videos from ?

4th : should I or can I delete iPhoto Library ?

Thank you very much.

P.D. I am using :

OS X El Capitan

Photos 1.1

in iCloud there aren't all my photos/videos. Just 89Gb. It says "Updating", but it doesn't update more photos/videos

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

    1. Yes.

    2. The media files are hardlinked. Despite being part of both size counts, they only count once towards the total amount of space used on the drive.

    3. Yes.

    4. You probably shouldn't; because of #2, doing so won't free up nearly as much space as it appears it will.

    Another question.

If I make a clean install of OS X El Capitan.

I have an external hard drive and, a Mac Mini Server (and my Macbook Air). I have backups of my Macbook in the hard drive and in the Mac Mini Server.

What is the best way to recover all photos in Photos of my MacBook Air after a clean install ?

Just to remember that I have 2 Libraries (iPhoto Library and Photos Library) since last update.

    Thank you very much
