Sep 25, 2015 3:39 PM in response to meekuenby ottajon,What worked for me was actually disconnecting and forgetting all wifi networks on my android as well as disabling the "Smart Switch" feature that is also sometimes enabled on wifi on the Android.

Sep 26, 2015 11:21 PM in response to meekuenby moon_apple,★HelpfulI finally got it to work by connecting to the wifi network under airplane mode on my HTC phone. Worth a try if you are experiencing the same issue.

Sep 27, 2015 11:23 PM in response to meekuenby Ranger Wolf,I also cannot get this to work. I have a Samsung Galaxy note edge and no matter what, it fails after preparing for about 5 minutes. gives a cannot migrate error and try again later. I've tried dozens of times, reseting the iPhone in iTunes, restarting my android as well as trying airplane mode and reseting WiFi settings on it.
I took my iPhone to a tmobile store and they stared at me like i was crazy to be experiencing this but i need my messages on this iphone, or it will be returned. This is for work and I also cannot be dealing with this for days with no solution. Not sure what to do at this point.
For reference I am trying to migrate to a brand new iphone 6s plus

Sep 28, 2015 11:56 PM in response to meekuenby betomtz,After 10 tries I got my HTC M8 to communicate with a brand new iPhone 6.
What I tried was turning off data services, bluetooth and making sure there was no SIM card on the old phone.
It worked, I selected what I wanted to transfer (messages and contacts), transfer started, but was interrupted after 5%:
"Start over: The transfer was interrupted. Do not switch to other apps or turn off this device until the transfer is complete."
I tap "OK"(only option) and both phones go back to the first screen.
HTC is prompting for a code, while iPhone is still "transferring".
This is terrible. I thought the PlayStore reviews were just bad blood, but they really aren't.

Sep 29, 2015 3:19 AM in response to meekuenby meekuen,No luck for me. I try to restore to latest iOS 9.0.1, the option "Move from Android" was missing.

Oct 1, 2015 7:34 AM in response to moon_appleby Fish_apple,Thanks. I had been on the phone with Apple support, and went to an Apple store for hours to try and resolve this issue. I use my phone extensively for work and can not afford the UN-productivity. This finally helped me to transfer everything. This saved a customer for Apple. Because I was about to high tail it back to Samsung.

Oct 20, 2015 5:45 PM in response to moon_appleby blueguitar322,For those who do not have the option to install from Android on startup, make sure you have the latest iOS (9.0+) installed. That fixed that issue for me.
And as someone else said, turn airplane mode on for your Android device and then re-enable WiFi.

Oct 27, 2015 3:01 PM in response to meekuenby jheremr,- I was having the same issues and finally got it to work. I have a Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6S Plus. Here are the actions I took when I continued to get the connection error message on my Note 4.
- I set the iPhone up as a new phone, connected it to my WiFi and updated it to iOS 9.1 and then reset the phone.
- I googled "galaxy note 4 disconnects from wifi repeatedly" and completed both steps below:
- From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
- Find and tap Settings.
- Under WIRELESS AND NETWORKS section, tap WiFi.
- Tap and hold the multi window key or tap the menu icon at the upper right corner.
- Tap Advanced.
- Set Keep WiFi on during sleep to Always.
- If mobile data is enabled and you have this problem, it would be better if you disabled Auto connect option.
If, however, the WiFi still disconnects then there must be something turning it off other than the features we disabled above.
- Go back to the Home screen and launch the Phone app.
- Dial the code *#0011#.
- A screen will pop up.
- Press Menu.
- Tap WiFi.
- Find WiFi Saving and turn it Off.
- Reboot your phone.
I found these steps on the following website: http://thedroidguy.com/2015/01/samsung-galaxy-note-4-problems-errors-glitches-so lutions-troubleshooting-part-4-102315
I recommend that you put your phone in airplane mode when doing the transfer. My phone rang and I had to start all over. Also I went to the power settings and restricted all background data just to make sure that there wouldn't be any other interruptions. It took about 30 minutes for my transfer to complete since I had a lot of data to transfer. I hope this helps.

Nov 5, 2015 2:07 AM in response to meekuenby EnvyDickson,If you want to use Move to iOS to transfer data from Samsung Galaxy Note to iPhone, you should make sure that your iPhone is running iOS 9. And it is used when your iPhone is getting reset or when you changing a new phone.
