Oct 1, 2015 8:31 AM in response to windmill_81by PaddyFH,I'm having the same problem too. Before watch OS2, it was the sunrise/sunset which would go blank but weather at wherever location I was at was consistently good.
Now after updating to WatchOS 2 and on the iPhone 6S, the location weather seems to have stayed on the location it had locked on earlier today even though I'm now at a different place. Have tried shutting down both the weather app on the watch and the phone but once I launch the app on the watch, it keeps going back to the earlier location.
When I turn off the location services for the weather app and back on (on the phone) the watch then keeps showing the loading graphic symbol, with "local weather" at the top of the watch face but nothing loads. It will spin endlessly with no progress and I end up closing the app.
I've had to shut the watch down completely and reboot it. Then when I check the weather it will say "Cannot access location data for weather" even though the weather app on the phone is displaying the location weather fine. After a few minutes, the watch will suddenly decide it will load the location weather after all
However when I moved to a different area and rechecked the weather for the new location I was at, the watch was now back to giving me the weather for the previous location and had not updated to the new location.
What an annoying bug! I don't want to have to shut down my watch overtime I want to check the local temperature!

Oct 1, 2015 8:38 AM in response to Jason CNYby Les S,Complications just keep getting more and more interesting with their ability to be buggy. Today, the weather complication is telling me it will hit 79°. Believe me when I tell you, that's not going to happen. The weather app is in agreement with me, but not the complication. It's obstinacy won't be intimidated by facts! Feels like I'm watching political commentary! My Watch has now been relegated to just watch functionality. Can't wait for the watch to decide that time is more relative than even Einstein imagined!

I guess I'll have to wait for a fix.
In order to ensure that Apple is aware of this issue - and of how many users are experiencing it - it may help for each person who is experiencing problems to:
Contact Apple Support:

And/or let Apple know via the feedback form (all feedback is read, but you should not expect to receive a reply):

Oct 10, 2015 2:20 AM in response to Jonathan UKby MacRo_b,II've been having this problem too and think/hope I've got it to work. I noticed that on the phone there are no separate Notifications settings for the Weather app (Settings > Notifications) and I wondered how the phone dealt with this. On the phone's Notifications screen (swipe down from the home page) there is also no separate option for showing data from the Wether app.
So I turned on the "Today Summary" option (which I had disabled) which shows a bit of weather information. I'm wondering if this forces the weather data to be updated more often, which in turn enables this data to be available to the watch.
Anyway, the weather complication seems to be working for me now - I've been out and about yesterday and today and the watch has changed my location a few times and given me fresh weather data. I hope that continues! - and that this info may be of help...

Oct 10, 2015 10:26 AM in response to MacRo_bby sbono13,Well for what it's worth, I had been seeing delays in the weather updating location, but never had Today Summary turned off. The issue seems to be mostly resolved though-- the Watch updates weather location, most of the time

Oct 13, 2015 8:23 PM in response to Jason CNYby Richard Zabilski,What I find is that after I restart the Watch, both my sunrise/sunset complication, as well as weather complication are blank, showing dashes --/--
The solution which I found works pretty much every time is to activate the Astronomy watchface for a few seconds. Somehow, that fixes the location issue which other watchfaces and apps seem to be having.

Nov 20, 2015 3:41 PM in response to Jason CNYby sdipietr,I tried all the suggestions. Nada. Then I went to the iphone and Settings>Privacy>Location Services.
I turned all location services off for the phone, and then turned back on.
Fixed instantly.

May 23, 2016 10:41 AM in response to Jason CNYby djcoryrob, hey guys. The only solution i've found so far when traveling... my watch complication now shows it... no need to restart/unsync your watch... I just went here: My Watch > Weather > Default City and changed it temporarily there. It doesn't seem to update to the location you are in automatically. But if you don't travel all too much then this is an option manually for the time being. Those frequent travellers might want to contact Apple support and let them know you are having this issue so they can recode for a later update.
