Q: Windows 10 Boot Camp Assistant ISO wont work

I just downloaded windows 10 it is an ISO version, the name of it is "en_windows_10_education_x64_dvd_6848120.iso" my mac version is 10.9.5.

For some reasons when i open Boot Camp Assistant, Check on Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk, and check on install windows 7 or latest version. I click on continue and this shows up.

Any solution on how to fix this? please help, Thank you

Did you update Boot Camp Assistant?

Do you have an existing Windows installation? What year/model is your Mac? Can you check the link provided by lllaass to see if your Mac is supported for W10?

Thanks for the fast reply, I had windows 8.1 on this mac that i downloaded through Boot Camp and same usb but i deleted everythiing from mac and USB is clear.

Yes there were, now I upgraded to OS X el capitan 10.11, and Boot Camp worked but when I lunched BootCamp, for some reasons only Check that i had was on "Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk" other two were faded so I clicked on continue and I guess windows downloaded to the USB. Now I dont know how to lunch windows to start downloading on mac.

You need to check all three options and provide the location of the Windows ISO when prompted.
