Updated my new iPad mini to iOs 9.0.1 & am unable to download FaceTime on it?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), safari problems

A:

FaceTime has been removed from that model and cannot be

installed on that iPad. Use Skype or similar app for video calls.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you do not have the FaceTime app. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

I bought my iPad from Dubai, will it not have FaceTime at all and will not support.

What is the model number of your iPad? Settings>General>About>Model.
You may have to scroll to see the entry for Model.

If your iPad is one meant for the Middle Eastern market, FaceTime has been
removed per governmental decree and cannot be installed, even if the iPad
is no longer in a restricted country.

You are welcome. Enjoy your iPad. If FaceTime is important to
you, you should sell the current iPad and buy another that is
not meant for the Middle Eastern market. Otherwise, use one
of the alternative video calling apps.
