Q: Apple Watch dying to fast

I just brought the Apple Watch and right out the box it asked for a update. Okay that's fine but then i changed it went to sleep and woke up with 7% battery lost over night. Is that normal? So today, I just wearing it around the house and trying to customize the watch face and my watch at 45% by 2pm! Why is the battery dying so FAST! Shouldn't it last longer? I just customized it to plain clock. Also the watch keep asking for me to turn on my Bluetooth on my phone and it was on! It stop receiving my texts and emails. Can anyone help with a soluation!

That's what happened to me. I would charge my watch and it wouldn't even charge at all and when I had it on the charge it would decrease my battery instead of charging it so I am sending mine in for repair.

You should contact apple support and they will send you a box to your house if you don't have an apple store near you, you send in your watch and if your watch needs to be repaired they will repair it and if it something they can't fix, they will give you a replacement watch.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Gina

It is normal for the battery life of your Apple Watch to reduce overnight. Remaining battery life during the day will depend on your usage and, of course, on the level of charge at the start of the day.

You may find it convenient to charge your watch overnight. Under normal operation and when charged in accordance with Apple's published guidelines, this will not cause any harm to the battery. Under the latest version of the watch software (watchOS 2), Apple added a Nightstand mode specifically to complement overnight charging.

If your iPhone and Apple Watch do not appear to be connected, it may not be necessary to unpair / re-pair.

Try restarting both devices. First, check that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone: Settings > Bluetooth and Settings > Wi-Fi. (Keep both of those iPhone settings enabled for the best operation). Keep your devices near each other when restarting. To restart Apple Watch: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
