Have had this happen to me 3 times. 6s Plus w/64 gig AT&T, Space Grey. All 3 times, I have had to hard reboot.

I have even restored my phone back to new... even though it is less than a week old. Same issue the next day.

My phone was charging and on scheduled do not disturb overnight and when I unplugged it this morning and tried to wake it up it was a black screen. I held both buttons down and it restarted. 1st time this has happened. I've had it since launch day. Running 9.0.2 on an IPhone 6s Plus 64GB.

My alarm went off at 0730 like normal.  When I left house, tried to make a call, phone was turned off.  Had to push Home+Power button for 10 seconds to get a restart.

I have a iPhone 6s+, IOS 9.0.2, in Silver Grey.  Running on ATT.  Bought phone from ATT.

Happened to me a few days ago, completely out of the blue. I think I had upgraded to iOS 9.0.1 at the time on my iPhone 6s 128 GB SpaceGray purchased through AT&T. Home+power button reboot did the trick.

iPhone 6s (64Gb) from AT&T with iOS 9.0.1 went dead after 1 week of use. Home+power button reboot got it back. Upon recommendation from Apple Store Support I upgraded to iOS 9.0.2 and reset the phone. After restoring backup from iCloud I found many apps will now crash immediately or shortly after launching.

    Apps crashing include:

    - Amazon Music

    - Nest

    - Headspace

    - Cardio

    - Camera+

    - Fields Tools

    - LightTrac

    - BBC News

    - AroundMe

    - TopoMaps+

I had this issue just about an hour or so ago with my brand new 6s 64 GB phone. I was about to use my phone for maps to get somewhere and realized my phone was off and I couldn't get it to turn back on right away. I thought maybe because it was cold outside it shut off, but even after trying to warm it up, it wouldn't turn on for about 15-20 minutes or so, and then it just appeared on again. It was at 97% battery, so nowhere near low, and it was still too warm to actually be a temperature issue either. Didn't feel the phone was exceptionally hot or cold when it did this. Hope it doesn't happen again! Glad I'm not alone in this!

Happens 3 times 3 days ago:

1.: the home Button wents superwarm, the screen stayed black (not able to restart, have to push the on/off button for 30sec)

2.: warm home button... the "unlock" screen appears ... but the iPhone seems to be frozen... (Restarted it myself)

    3. The iPhone restarted itself While running the Apple Watch app.

    IPhone 6s 128 gb spacegrey

    ios 9.01

    appleWatch

so iOS 9.02 did not solve this problem?

hardware issue? i keep an eye on this... last 2 days there were no malfunctions ...

iiPhone 6S 64 GB Space Grey iOS 9.0.2 - had the device since release day - this morning I missed an alarm due to it somehow turning itself off last night even while on the charger. Had to Home Buttom/Power Button restart it just to get it to do anything. Already did a reset and restore from

icloud a few days ago due to a different issue. Hoping for a quick turn around on software fix.

iPhone 6s Plus 64Gb (both my wife and mine)

both turn themselves off out of the blue.  it happened on both 9.0.1 and 9.0.2.  the only way to bring it back is a reboot by holding down Home and Power.  it happened 3-4 times since we received the devices on released day.

After two nights it happened again with iOS 9.02.

This time I had not closed all Apps before I went to bed.

Are all the iPhones having this issue on at&t?  The reason I ask, is that I was visiting my daughter on 9/26 when she had this issue on her unlocked at&t iPhone 4S!  She said it has been going on for awhile (months).  Told her her software needed to be updated (she was on iOS 7).  She has since updated to 9.0.2, still has the same issue.  Yesterday I had the same thing with my unlocked 6S on at&t.  In both cases battery was about 50%.
