Q: Does Aperture original raw file (Image) and variation transfer to Photos

Does both Aperture original raw file (Image) and a variation file (Changes/Adjustments) transfer to Photos ?

Is there a better instruction guide and information then this:
How Photos handles content and metadata from iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

Also I tried to click on the iCloud for the Photos, and it told me the file was too big.
Is there a capacity limit or is it a money issue ?

Thanks

It is as the document you linked to said:

Photos migrate with the adjustments and filters you applied in Aperture. You can't modify the adjustments in Photos, but you can revert to the original image.

if you edit a photo inAperture it will karate as two images, the original image file and the a rendered image file of the edited photo. You cannot undo the adjustments individually. You can only revert to the original image file, if you want to edit the photo in Photos.

It will be like photos edited in an external editor or a plug-in. The edits will be transferred as an edited image.

Both. You have 5GB of free storage in iCloud. If you want to store a larger photo library in iCloud, you need to sign up for a different iCloud plan.
