Q: OS X could not be installed on your computer

File system verify or repair failed. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.

I click restart and end up in the same spot.

Go into Disk Utility and find:

Internal ST31000528AS....

    Macintosh HD

Perform First Aid on both

ST3100 returns a Green check and returns this message

Checking extended attributes file.

Checking volume bitmap.

Checking volume information.

The volume Recovery HD appears to be OK.

File system check exit code is 0.

Checking Core Storage Physical Volume partitions

The partition map appears to be OK

Operation successful.

I do First Aid on Macintosh HD returns:

Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.

Checking extents overflow file.

Checking catalog file.

Invalid record count

The volume Macintosh HD could not be verified completely.

File system check exit code is 8.

File system verify or repair failed.

Operation failed...

I brought it to the "Genius Bar" and they booted a networked drive of Yosemite and looked at my HD and they could see the higher tree and see the two users but could go no lower.  Both user names said 0kb of data below.  They also noticed that Macintosh HD was locked and "unlock" was grayed out.  **edit Genius Bar did a check on my hard drive and got the big green PASSED.

I spent four hours at Apple Store today and this is my first mac ever.  Please help!  Not that its needed, but I tip generously with bit coin!!  TIA
