Sep 26, 2015 5:47 PM in response to Flex Jargonby Loner T,Your 2011 iMac is not officially supported by Apple for Windows 10. Please see Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support . You will run into driver issues and will have to find generic drivers or use the older drivers and re-install them with Administrative privileges in emulation mode.

Oct 4, 2015 7:39 AM in response to Loner Tby Flex Jargon,I have an 8.1 disk. The part that isn't clear to me is whether I should just boot to the Win partition and insert the disk or somehow, run it through Boot Camp .

Oct 4, 2015 8:40 AM in response to Flex Jargonby Loner T,You will need to re-install W8.1 from scratch. I suggest you backup your files from W10, remove it using BC Assistant, and the use BCA fro re-install W8.1.
