Q: Uploading photos to iCloud

I updated my Mac to El Capitan and everything is fine. Except in Photos - 3 photos have been uploading to iCloud since Wednesday and it is now Sunday. I have uploaded other photos since, over 1000 in all, but the 3 are still going and I don't even know what they are. What can I do to stop the upload or do I just have to wait?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9)

I have one photo doing the same thing, I've tried various things and it remains. it doesn't however seem to be interfering with normal service, so my intention is to leave it be for the time being.
