Q: game center broken in ios 9

Anyone else seeing this? I saw this during the beta but in the last beta it would actually load eventually. But now it doesn't do anything. Just sits on the white screen. It works perfectly fine on my iPad Mini 3, though.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9

MrDjNeon, тут пишут, что GAME CENTER нормальный уже есть в 9.1 beta 3. Так что он появится в 9.1 release стабильной, но вы пока можете поставить 9.1 beta 3 - она публичная.

I was having the problem as well, and what's more frustrating is that now that I upgraded to 9.0.2 the symptoms are worse, i.e. Game Center doesn't connect at all!  I really don't understand why Apple isn't out in front of this...I'm not going to go do any of these back-up hacker exercises...I'm not getting paid to fix their problems.  Apple needs to come to me with the problem and automated solution.  I have zero loyalty and if they can't straighten this nonsense out in short order I will seek another product.  And "No", I"m not going to pay Apple support $20 so they can fix some issue with their device/software.

iOS 9.1 fixes the Game Center problem.

I never had an issue with logging into games on Facebook unless there was a problem with Facebook or my Facebook settings.

The only way to get 9.1 right now is with the beta. As posted before, you can sign up for FREE at the fallowing address.

    beta.apple.com

I only did the bets to fix Game Center, and once 9.1 is released to the public out of beta, I will delete the beta access profile.

Everything I have seen says that will put you back on the general release.

I understand not wanting to run a beta on any device, however right now there are two options.

    1. Sign up for and run the beta.

    2. Wait for the official public release of iOS 9.1.

It stinks, however that's where things are at.

I also had all those problems with the Game Center with the new iOS 9.01 and 9.02 updates and the I went and updated with the iOS 9.01 beta and everything is back to normal.

Thanks for setting out the options.

I only have the problem with my IPad as I didn't update my IPhone to ios 9.0.1/2. Game Center and games still work fine on my phone.

Don't fancy signing up for beta so I will continue to play game center games on my phone until 9.1 becomes public. The only problem with that is eye strain with the small screen!

Like you say though, it stinks.

Yup, yup....9.1 public beta fixed everything. Pretty sad that we have to download a beta to make our stuff work. Well Played Apple, Well Played....

The 9.1 beta 4 caused Game Center to take 30 seconds to a minute to load, but it still loads.

THe beta has been stable for me on my 5th gen iPod.

Got a brand new 6s, and virtually all games unplayable.  Upgraded from 5s - first time ever contemplating leaving the orchard - come on Apple, sort this out

So i talk to tech support as i can't open Game Center on my iPad or on my macbook pro after new iOS releases. Tech tells me there is no reported problem even after i state this forum is full of people with same issue. he assured me these posts are years old (pfft apparently i can't read a date !!!!) first problem with that guy - can you feel a complaint brewing here? oh yes he also insists theres no beta available either

So he makes me totally do all sorts of evil things to the iPad, which ultimately meant that it would no longer boot up at all and i had to wipe it. "oh when did you last back up?" - isn't that something he should have asked FIRST. so i lost a month of gaming and work documents.....i was NOT impressed.

after 2.5 hours on the phone, he declares it a hardware fault (despite the fact it was working before he called me) and that i need it replaced. So i reinstalled it all myself works fine EXCEPT for the missing data and game centre. still not working mind you.

If this isn't fixed soon I'm going android. i just can't deal with devices that don't work but worse still support that insists their iOS isn't a problem. negligence in my field of work just isn't acceptable.

so i have a 'genius bar' appointment today - lets see what they can do to help.

i so hear you. Same. everything in this house is apple. Apple TV, macbook pro, two macbook airs, 7 iPhones, 4 iPods. you would think it would be a hard decision to swap. but this has been going on for far too long with users being ignored. just plain frustrating.

As I understand from you iOS 9.1 beta3 working fine with Game center,  but iOS 9.1 beta4 not.  Why?

I'm sorry that you had THAT bad experience with Apple Support, learn from it, I have the latest years.

Unfortunately that is how the trail is going.

You won't get any good support or understanding before you come to a Senior Advisor at Apple I've learned.

Just don't accept sit in hours with newbie support, demand more.

Things have been going downhill in many areas since Steve died is my experience. They have no genius that control Apple anymore and it shows in lack of security in softwares and in lack of security in the company, but a businessman who only know what he knows.

But it sure is good that more Apple Stores is coming up for us to seek support when problems seems to be more and more.

I TOO have this bug with Game Center and more problem with 9.0 and even more other buggs in 9.0.1 & 9.0.2.

    The worst upgrade EVER.

But it haven't gone that far that I considered seeking other systems, I'm too deep into Apple.

But I've learned that it isn't the same Apple today as some years back.

Got to accept it and demand more in our contact with Apple, they are what they are today.

A company that is in transition.

No tech-daddy that look out for us anymore, we have to do that ourselves now.

In future updates I'll wait until XX.1 before upgrading iOS

Fortunately my El Capitan upgrade went flawless, gotta be grateful for that
