Click on your avatar at the top left of the page where sign out is. When the window opens, double click it, and edit My Products. Helps those who are trying to help you.

coud not find a specific command to enter a space, but I did found something about dictation commands.
You may be able to create your own dictation command for space.

@ Eric: OS X 10.9.5 is indeed Mavericks ... and indeed Mavericks does not have option to create such user-customized commands.

I like dictation but it makes a lot of mistakes. Will it become more attenuated to my voice as I use it more?

I haven't used Dictation over a sufficient length of time to provide a fair evaluation, but according to Apple Support documentation, "The more you use Dictation, the better it understands you. Dictation learns the characteristics of your voice and adapts to your accent".* I recommend using Enhanced Dictation as I found it provides a better experience. Try reading through the following Apple documentation for suggestions on getting the most out of Dictation:
