Why did my iphone 6s 64gb freeze on the slide to upgrade screen, on the frist day i got it , and try setting it up?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.1

Hi, try these steps however since your phone is new I would take it back to the Apple Store and ask them to either fix it or give you a new one. Nothing to lose by trying the steps below first. Good luck....
