Q: why do i continually see "restoring from icloud backup" underneath where it says "Slide to unlock"

When I click the home button on my phone in order to light up the screen and unlock it, it continually says "restoring from icloud backup" underneath where it says "Slide to Unlock". This doesn't seem right!!

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2, 128GB

If you can't get past the Slide to Unlock screen, follow these steps:
If your iOS 9 device is stuck on Slide to Upgrade - Apple Support
