Q: Stock complication not updating on OS2

Hi...

I updated to the new software, and now the stock complication no longer updates with the accurate stock price.

I've tried upairing and repairing the watch with the phone.

I've shut off and restarted both the phone and the watch - and still it no longer updates.

Has anyone else been having an issue with this?

    Try this:

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > General > Background App Refresh - check that Background App Refresh is enabled at the top and also for the Stocks app within the list beneath.

Exact same issue. Very haphazard updating of stock info with the complication and glances as well. It wasn't fantastisc before Watch OS 2 but at least I was able to nudge it a bit when using the stock app on the watch. And knowing what the stock price is in real time on the watch face is kind of the value in having it there.

Background app refresh is on. I wish it were that easy.

I've even restored my watch. Still nothing.

I also checked... I have the background refresh on.

The stock complication was decent before the update... Now it's just stuck.

Mine works okay. Unfortunately, the news is not good.

3 different locations to get a stock quote (watch face, glance and app) garners 3 different quotes

I have the same problem. Was fine in OS1, still only updated every 5 mins which is a little slow IMO, but now it wont update at all. I have to use the glace or stocks app to get accurate price information.  The complication is completely broken and shows incorrect info.

Same here, stock complication does not update. Hope they can fix this soon. I used to use this feature daily on the original watch OS.

Same here. Worked well before OS2 and / or iOS 9.0.2, now completely fails to refresh reliably with OS2 or even show the same ticker as the one selected in the iPhone stocks app ( No, I didn't forget to select the mirror iPhone option under the default stock setting ). If and when it does sync, complication quotes / prices are different than shown in glances and in the iPhone stock app. I Tried to reset both the watch and the phone as well as turning them both off and back on. Toggled the background app refresh button as well on the iPhone. I also made sure Region settings were consistent between the iPhone and the watch, all to no avail. The stocks complication is one that I use(d) a lot. For all intents and purposes, it is now utterly useless. Apple will no doubt push out a software update, the question is, when ?

The stock price on the complication was lock step with my iPhone app until OS2.  I am now having the same issue described above.  The complication will not refresh and seldom matches the data or even the stock highlighted on the iPhone app.  Interestingly, I noticed that the stock price displayed in glances seems to coincide with the iPhone while the complication does not.

Complications are still broken for weather and stock price despite the upgrade to iOS 9.1 and Watch OS 2.0.1
