Q: USB for streaming music cuts out and stops working after a few minutes. Any possible fix?

Switching back to Yosemite was fine. Using internal speakers with El Capitan works fine, too. However, streaming through the USB to a DAC (TEAC UD-H01) fails after a few minutes. Anybody experienced something similar?

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)

I am experiencing the same issue with my UD-H01 since upgrading to El Capitan. In fact, I can't even play video or any music when the TEAC is the active audio interface. If I switch to another interface say HDMI out, it works fine.

    Hi primo-sol,

thanks for your post. I am curious to know how you set up HDMI as the TEAC UD-H01 does not have HDMI capability. I have an iMac so there is no HDMI as well.

Sorry to confuse, the HDMI is from my Mac Mini to my monitor. I should have made that clear. Everything works fine when I use that output, nothing works when I use the USB TEAC ASYNC output (the UD-H01). In the meantime, I am going to pick up an optical cable and use that to the TEAC instead of the USB until TEAC releases an update.

Thanks for clarifying that. Please let me know how it works out with the optical cable. Unfortunately, I have a 2009 iMac which does not have an optical output, only USB and Firewire.
