Q: I have restrictions on but allow Safari yet Safari doesn't respond, why?

Hi there,

I have put restrictions on my daughters iPod but flagged to allow Safari, FaceTime, Camera and pretty much all others.

All of them work as expected, except Safari. Any page she tries to open in Safari is met with the message that the page is restricted.

I've got no idea what to do.

Any feedback is highly appreciated and many thanks in advance.

Have a wonderful day...

Kind regards

Michael

    What restrictions are also set?

Maybe an age-related restrictions is causing that behavior.

Try selectively unsetting them and see when Safaris will load those site.

    Hello Illaass,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I've put restrictions on downloading apps (12+), in game purchases, movies etc.

Nothing to do with Safari - at least that was my impression.

As mentioned, Safari she's allowed to open.

I will try your suggestion and somehow feel it'll solve the issue.

Again, many thanks and have a wonderful day...

    Ciao

    Michael
