Q: MBP keyboard not found when opening from sleep

I have a MBP 15inch which i use for work everyday. Each day, i close the lid, go home, and open it the next morning, login and everything continues as i would expect. That is until i upgraded to El Capitan. Now when i open the lid, it wakes and requires my password but the keyboard isn't available. I have to turn off the machine and restart when i can then login.

Is anyone else having this issue and if so, is there a fix?
