Q: What does "offline" mean when you use find my iPhone app?

My phone got stolen and i am currently using the computer and the ipad to find my iphone but it says offline whenever i use the app. Can Anyone explain what offline means when using the find my iphone app.

It means the phone is not connected to any type of network (WiFi or cellular) so it can't be located.
