Q: I may have had a malware attack on my iPhone while using Safari. What should I do?

When using Safari, a malware notice popped up and my phone dialed the 1-888 number 3 x before I could shut it down. What should I do?

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.0.2

My phone actually dialed the 1-888 number 3x before I could shut it down. Help!

Click here and follow the instructions in the first paragraph of the last section.
Having called the number isn’t itself a problem, but if you gave the scammers any personal information or access to a computer, consider it compromised.
