And not every car bluetooth system supports the iPhone.

I tried to discover Iphone 6 and Iphone 5s, but my phone still in discovery mode. it is not able to detect the other iphone also. not sure why ?
but while drive i see it was able to detect the Nuvi GPS from some other car.
Also for FYI... i am able to connect to connect my sony laptop. but the detection was done from my laptop.
even my Samsung S4 detect my iphone but the iphone dont show any device....its keep in discovery mode.

As already mentioned, transferring files, using Bluethooth between other mobile phones or computers is not supported by the iOS.

Actually i have to connect my car bluetooth to iphone so that i can talk while driving. but i cant see my handsfree device on iphone.
