Thank you, that is helpful. My friend has an Android phone, and his blocked texts are received into something like a "blocked texts" area, sorta like a spam folder. Anyway, what I was getting at is whether iPhone has a similar feature, which it does not.

It sounds as if his phone is not actually blocking the texts, merely moving them. iPhones block them.
