Oct 10, 2015 10:18 AM in response to PaolaPenguinby lilttleminique,I had this problem. My brother had it to. He just updated it, so I did to and it worked. It may wirk for you if you reset it to factory mode and then update it.

Oct 10, 2015 11:36 AM in response to lilttleminiqueby PaolaPenguin,I wasn't referring to any software malfunctions, but rather Apple blocking any mobile data use over 100 megabytes. It is a built in function of the software that doesn't allow full use of the telephone. As I understand it, the other manufacturers allow customers to use the data they pay for.

Why has Apple decided not to allow me to use the unlimited mobile data I pay so much for? I live in a very rural region where high speed internet isn't available. There is however 4G signal. For things such us updates and backups, Apple says F-you to anyone wishing to actually use the data they pay for. Why?
We're just fellow users. We can't answer "why" questions on Apple's behalf.
You can submit feedback to Apple here:
Or, use the Contact Us link at the bottom right of every page for other options.

I use a couple of GB's of data every month with no issues - always have had unlimited data plans - never have had issues
