Yes. With this specific partition, your partition table looks correct.

Can you use this table and the NTFS Start/Size in steps 7 and 8 in the linked thread (make sure you use the plus sign in step 8) and run the two sets of the Gdisk steps?

    Hello Loner T,

Alright, so I have done the first set - Rebuild GPT4 using start/end offsets. and this is what I have so far:

    Screen Shot 2015-10-10 at 9.49.34 PM.png

Now for set 2 (Rebuild MBR to match the new GPT information thus resetting the Hybrid MBR), I am not sure I understand:

"The only values that need modifications are the Boot flags and step 10."

    - That means for steps 8,9,10 even though the numbers might differ from 2, 3, 4 (as in the instruction), but I do not need to manually enter any number? Just accept whatever number Gdisk provides me?

    - Is 2 3 4 what I am going to type in (with the space) for step 6?

Just to add to the previous post. Right now I am at step 6 of set 2, What should I put in for step 6?

It seems like I only have 1-3 to choose from (different from 2 3 4 in the guide), Here is a screenshot:

The reason for that statement is explained later, in the sample Q&A. Gdisk asks for partition types. These should use the defaults that Gdisk suggests. Some users use 'N' instead, which is the incorrect response for partition types. The 'Y'/N' is intended for the boot flags question. You will need to use 2 3 4. Check the sample Q&A before you execute this set.

OK. So I put 2 3 4 as instructed for step 6 (set 2), but it seemed like "4" does not exist. Please let me know what do I put here?

Is this what step 10 supposed to be like anyways? After this answer, should I continue as step 11 - O  (print current Hybrid MBR)?

You no longer have a GPT 4. You used to have it. The first time you ran the first set, it was deleted, but never added using the n,4 sequence.

You can see it on this screen that you posted - https://discussions.apple.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-29090415-628191/Sc reen+Shot+2015-10-10+at+9.49.34+PM.png . It does not have a GPT 4.

Can you run the first set of Gdisk steps, but skip the d,4 commands? It will create a new one with n,4. Remember to use NTFS Start/Size (not GPT 3 start/size) from the table I posted.

Yes, you can. Please backup OS X and Windows. Use separate external disks, if possible.

    Haha will do!

Will time machine back up both Mac and PC?

Also, will this happen again everytime I update to a new version of the OS?

TM will only back OSX. This is the reason for my 'separate disk' recommendation. It depends on who badly Apple breaks future OS X versions.

Got it. Any time machine equivalent you'd recommend? I relied on manual backup, the biggest problem is it being "manual". I can't know when the system is going to break, so it can never be as "bulletproof" as a automated backup solution...

Haha, you are right. But usually does Apple fix their update after the initial release? So may be, next time, I will just wait until they roll out the stable update (for bootcamp specifically)?

Windows Backup/restore or File History can be scheduled and will automatically backup.

Once Windows is installed, it is stable, with some minor hiccups.

    Hi @Loner T,

Would you be able to lend me a hand with this issue too please?

I've created a new thread with the outputs you requested in other threads here:

Missing BootCamp partition after installing OS X El Capitan

Any assistance you can lend would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!
