Q: Updated to El Capitan, now there is no music in my iTunes library (ripped music and purchased).
I have a couple thousand songs that I have ripped to my iTunes library and about 900 songs that have been purchased. I was able to restore the purchased music, but the playlists I made, and all of my ripped music isn't there. How do I restore the songs? I backed up my Mac on Time Machine before updating, but there has to be another way, right? Thanks for any help you can give.

Actually figured it out... just followed these instructions. If you don't see your content after you update iTunes - Apple Support
