Q: No reminders app on the watch?

I do understand that the watch will pop up any reminders that have a time/date/location set on them.  And I understand that you can add a reminder using siri on the watch.  However, the fact that you can't view your reminders on the watch seems like a big oversight on apple's part.  I use the reminders app for a lot of things, including shopping lists.  It would be quite useful to be able to check off items from the Reminder's app right on your watch.

I suppose I could use a different app, anyone know of a good list/reminder app that works on the Apple Watch?

Have you checked to see if your default reminders list has changed? On the phone this is found under Setting>Reminders. Also when I installed Fantastical another list was created called "Reminders". So I had two lists called "Reminders". One associated with my iCloud account and another that was local to the phone. Fantastical placed the empty one at the top of my list so I thought I lost all of my tasks until I realized there were two lists with the same name.

If you have already tried everything else my guess is you've found a bug.

Yeah I've checked default lists. I also searched through reminders in the hopes it was in a different list. Nothing. I guess I just have to wait for a fix.

I'm using AddReminder. It is a very simple app that allows to type reminders on the Apple Watch.

Not the wrong venue,  the public needs to know to build support for the idea externally, and Apple feedback is used to build support of the idea internally to Apple. When Apple reviews the popularity of the idea, a look at the feedback mailbox and the search for the idea on their site ( or the Web in general ) , will give them an idea of it's popularity. Additionally, by making the idea public, more people will submit feedback to Apple.

I submitted this to Apple feedback on this as well. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get Reminders on my watch before I found this post, which let me know I wasn't doing anything wrong. It just is not there!

Yes, this is still the wrong venue. Apple doesn't read here for feedback. Use the Feedback page:

    http://www.apple.com/feedback

And, this is a technical support forum, not a place to build support for anything.

It's a great support discussion forum, awareness of technical issues and ( ideally )  fixes for them should be discussed here. Now, if someone strays off into PC vs Mac, religion, politics, etc, I would see your point.

It's a technical support forum. I don't make the rules. Apple does. This question has been answered. If you want to "raise awareness" with Apple, use the feedback link.

I am using Things from culturecode.com. I can add items to the watch and check off items from the watch. The only drawback is that it only shows me the things I said I wanted to get done Today and for that I need the phone.

It is probably overkill but it syncs with the phone, the watch, my iPad and my desktop and also lets me add items and check off items on the watch. It's meant to work in line with David Allen's Getting Things Done.

Like you, it would be great if Reminders was integrated directly but until then, this is not a bad workaround.

Use Reminders Nano. Download from the App Store to your phone and iPad. Install on Watch. It acts as a conduit for Reminders. Once it is installed you use the original Reminders on your phone, iPad, desktop etc. It will appear on your watch perfectly. You can ask Siri to set a reminder and it will!. You do not have to use Nano. Simply use Reminders as you always have and it will sync 100% on your watch and other devices. Used it for 7 months and works 100% .

My reminders is in the dock on my iWatch and I have no issues.  Why add more apps??  Apple fixed this!
