Oct 12, 2015 10:44 PM in response to Loner Tby pentelho,Loner-san,
When I installed the Macrium reflect utility, it prompted me to create a recovery disk using the Windows PE environment, which I did. When I start up from the rescue disk the DRIVERS WORK!!!! heyyyyy, i.e., I can control the screen with mouse and keyboard. The GUI asks me all kind of intelligent questions, where I want to boot from, and whether I want to replace the MBR and all kind of other Kanji riddles. Obviously I want to boot from LILY, but that's where I gave up, since I did not want to irreparably damage the current set up, i.e., I do not want the OLD LILY to go BUST!.
Please help make sense of all of this.
Arigato, thank you

Oct 13, 2015 8:05 AM in response to pentelhoby Loner T,You will have to be my eyes and ears and hands.
Eject LILY. Connect LILY2. Try to Boot in Windows Safe Mode. If you can, Repair the BCD using bootrec.exe /rebuildBCD and test if LILY2 will boot normally.

Oct 13, 2015 8:48 AM in response to Loner Tby pentelho,OK in there now. In the right upper corner of the GUI i hit "fix windows boot problems".
Then it asks me what disk to boot from. The choices are the LILY clone or APPLE SSD.... and likely refers to some part of the fusion drive, the latter is checked by default. thx. Should I check LILY and go from there?

Oct 13, 2015 8:53 AM in response to pentelhoby Loner T,I assume this is LILY2 and LILY (original) is physically disconnected. If yes, use it.

Oct 13, 2015 8:56 AM in response to Loner Tby pentelho,Yes it is, going ahead.
No there is a new screen with four checkboxes:
1 Reset the boot disk iD
2. Replace the MBR
3 Replace partition sector boot
4. Rebuild the BCD and BOOT.INI files.
All of those are checked by default. Uncheck one or the other, or go ahead with all 4 boxes checked? Thx

Oct 13, 2015 9:21 AM in response to pentelhoby pentelho,Negative, does not boot.
The source still works though. I guess the problem eludes me.
Is there a way to to a fresh install of windows on the second ext ssd without messing up the BOOTCAMP config that's working now?
