Q: Numbers only uses iWork fonts?

On my system Numbers now only works with the fonts installed in Library/Application Support/Apple/Fonts

Previously (pre El Capitan?) it would detect system fonts and fonts which were activated with FontExplorer X too.

Has anybody experienced this too?

OS X 10.11 + Numbers 3.5.3

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Have you restarted Numbers? What about restarted the computer?

Thanks. Yes I restarted my system and reinstalled Numbers but no luck.

It only reads fonts from Library/Application Support/Apple/Fonts so I just put the fonts I need in there as a workaround.

There is a Numbers update that came out on 15 Oct 2015 that address fonts. run the update then report back whether it addresses your problem

Thanks, I noticed. No it did not solve the font problem.

I did a clean install of El Cap as I needed to replace a defective SSD and the problem is still there. It appears that Numbers only loads the fonts located in:
~Library/Application Support/Apple/Fonts/iWork

Might be incompatibility with FontExplorer. Who Knows... As a workaround I put the fonts I need in the iWork folder.

If you open Numbers in another user space do you have the same problem?
