Oct 14, 2015 10:36 AM in response to carl wolfby RichBary,Sounds to me like he's identifying a legitimate issue and would like to know if this problem is pervasive or simply an isolated case. I think it's a serious enough issue to be of concern to all of us.

Nov 2, 2015 6:20 PM in response to RichBaryby carl wolf,Since no one else has mentioned this problem, I think otherwise. The customer should make an appointment with an Apple Genius, and discuss his options. My guess is that he won't.

Feb 24, 2016 3:30 AM in response to bones86by graham_h,I have this problem too, but much worse. The N and M keys are almost unrecognisable, and the A and S keys are wearing badly.
It's a shame because it's such a great computer and so well made in all other respects. For the record, I've never had this problem with any previous macbook before.
I've started using a rubber keyboard skin (specially designed for the Macbook 12") but it's ugly and I'd prefer to go back to the standard keyboard. A discussion on reddit seems to suggest that the damaged keycaps can be replaced. I'm going to book a genius bar appointment and see what they say.

Feb 29, 2016 7:47 PM in response to bones86by gagirly,My keys just don't work period (2015 Gold Macbook). Most stopped working within a month or two, it's been 5 now. Stuck tethered to a bluetooth keyboard at all times until I can get a break from work to mail it off to Apple to fix for a week or two which will never happen LOL.
