Haven't used an Epson in years, and was amazed by the high ratings. Well the ratings just barely express the quality of this machine. I am absolutely blown away with the performance and integration of this unit.  I am fairly technical but if you aren't then don't worry about it. This printer sets up in moments, is really fast and super easy to understand. Color is terrific and overall it's a solid printer. Came in a huge box but after unpacking it's the perfect size machine for a busy home office. It's a solid machine that seems built to last.  It supports airprint! That is awesome for us iPad fiends, lol. So long crappy Brother, and HP. Epson is back in town!

Couldn't have been easier to set up.  Love it and thanks for the tip!

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8610. Printing and scanning have worked perfectly for me. I am using a MacBook running OS X 10.10.5

If you have an iPad or iPhone, you may want to consider buying a wireless printer that supports AirPrint (just in case you ever want to print from your iOS device). This article contains a list of AirPrint-compatible printers and all-in-ones.
