Q: "Error could not be partitioned"

i need help with this error. It happen right after I set my windows size, it loads for about 3 mins then stops and gives me this error... I've tried to use command+s and repair the disk on it. But it still not working..

ANyone could help me with this? And please a detailed explanation if you guys can bc I'm not really good with this.

Can you boot in Local Recovery and Repair and Verify the disk?

You can also test each of the following.

Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck - Apple Support
Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks - Apple Support

II've tried the first two links...
i Used code "diskutil verity /" to check my hard driver..it was unable, due to a diskmanagment framework..
TThen I tried to run "fsck -fy" and say that I should run with (-l) which I have no clue what that means. But I tried to run it aswell but it didn't work

I Think this is the problem
im having but I'm running El capitan
so my set is a little different. That been said I can't fix it

What year/model is your Mac? Does your Mac have a Fusion drive?

Backup OS X using Time Machine, boot into Internet Recovery, erase your internal drive, restore from TM back up, and test?

imac 27" late 2012.. Yes
im at work right now.. ill try to do that as soon as I get home
