Plus when I send to him, I get a copy. How do I fix this? more

Oct 16, 2015 3:11 PM in response to jjstowe2by Rysz,Every person should have a seperate Apple ID. Since all purchases (apps, music, etc) were made your husband's Apple ID, he can set up Family Sharing, so you continue to have access to them.
There are some temporary workarounds available. Search this forum for instructions, but you really need your own ID.

My husband and I both have separate ID's but needed to sync contacts and some calendars for business. However, we want to avoid the same issue above. You don't really answer the question if she's having this issue of needing to sync contacts and calendars but not messaging and FaceTime calls.
