Q: Macbook Pro 2011, No Battery available, rpcsvchost at 97%
Hey guys, Recently decided to pull my old macbook pro out and fiddle with it. Having quite a few issues that I can't seem to solve.
1. No Battery available - I've tried the SMC reset, and pretty much everything I've found online and nothing works. I can't pull the battery and do a physical reset.
2. RPCSVCHOST is running at 95% CPU all the time. kernel_task was up there but now that's only at 40%(instead of being up there at 90). Activiy Monitor shows System is at 30%, User is 52%, and idle is ~16%. that's doing a fresh reboot and no programs running.
3. No camera found, not sure what the issue is there..
Basically, my Mac is pretty useless at the moment and I would love to get it back up and running and hopefully with some of you smarter folks out there I can get it restored!
Feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
